Defiance, Ohio – Registered nurses at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital, represented by the Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) and AFT, have successfully negotiated a new contract agreement that secures improvements to support quality patient care and a resilient workforce. As a result of reaching this agreement, the informational picket previously scheduled for May 10th will not take place.
The new contract, which applies to the hospital’s 105-member nursing union, will be in effect from April 10, 2025, through April 10, 2028.
