Political Advocacy

ONA Political Contributing Entity (PCE)

These position statements are the core issues that ONA believes to be foundational to our work. ONA maintains a Political Contributing Entity (PCE) , also known as a political action committee or PAC, which is a vital part of any successful legislative program. The PCE is a transparent, state-monitored fund that not only gives all ONA members the opportunity to have influence at the Statehouse and beyond, but also allows nurses to speak with one, unified voice.

Nurses who serve on the Health Policy Council are informed of upcoming political issues and play a key role in deciding who will receive contributions.
