Collective bargaining members of the Ohio Nurses Association should complete an Assignment Despite Objection (ADO) form to report all unsafe working conditions. The ADO is submitted using a simple, online form. Using this form, the ONA Member can submit every issue that occurred during a single shift on one form. Unsafe conditions that should be reported are below and include, but are not limited to:
ONA and your local unit are able to use ADO data to advocate for safer environments and safer patient care, both within individual workplaces and statewide. ADOs are never shared with identifying information publicly. ADO submissions are shared with the member’s labor rep, ONA staff, and a copy is given to the workplace as required by each local unit contract.
