$100,000 Research Award Available to Study Moral Injury in Nursing from ONF

Moral injury is a pervasive issue within our profession that has received little to no research attention. That is why the Ohio Nurses Foundation, whose mission is to advance nursing through research, education and scholarships, is making this issue the center of our foundation’s focus. We’re proud to announce a research award of up to $100,000 for nurse researchers to study moral injury.

The Project
The researcher must focus on how registered nurses in all practice settings across the state of Ohio are experiencing moral injury in the workplace. The principal investigator(s) must be a registered nurse prepared at the doctoral level. At least one member of the research team must be a member of ONA.

Up to $100,000 is available to fund this project and will be awarded directly to the researcher through a contract established with the ONF Board of Directors. The application allows for 1 or more researchers to apply on one application.
