This webinar follows the 1st Annual ONA Human Trafficking Awareness Symposium and explores the ACEs as they relate to nursing practice and their ability to identify those at increased risk of trafficking and exploitation.

Speaker: Ruth Downing is a family nurse practitioner of 14 years, with experience as a forensic nurse for 20 years and RN for 40 years. Ruth is the Director of Project Development for the Forensic Nursing Network. She provides education and consulting on the ‘healthcare response to violence’ for healthcare, law enforcement, and legal professionals nationally and internationally.
