Ohio Nurses Foundation (ONF) Donates $1,000 to RN Who Loses Home in Fire

Suzanne Vogel, RN and ONA member, has tragically lost her home to fire. During these uncertain times, in the world and all the stress that goes along with being a frontline healthcare provider during the COVID-19 pandemic, Suzanne is now enduring the loss of her house and the strain of relocating her and her family to a temporary home.

Luckily, Suzanne’s family are doing fine after the fire, however, one child was hospitalized in the ICU. For obvious reasons Suzanne has a lot to manage right now. The Ohio Nurses Foundation (ONF) began collecting donations, though donors and proceeds from the Homage t-shirt sales, to help nurses who are the frontline warriors during the COVID-19 pandemic. One donor specifically donated $1,000 to help cover the cost of housing during the crisis. The Ohio Nurses Foundation is honored to pass along that $1,000 donation for housing relief for Suzanne and her family during her personal misfortune.
