Marie Cinalli, RN, ONA Member, has a wonderful start to the holidays. She is the most recent winner of a $1,000 Nurse’s Night Out from California Casualty. Marie, who works at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, was surprised at the ONA Biennial Convention the second weekend in October, accepting her prize in front of hundreds of her fellow nurses.
California Casualty is dedicated to honoring the incredible work nurses do. The Nurse’s Night Out contest recognizes healthcare professionals who often endure long hours and difficult situations to provide comfort, healing and care for their patients. California Casualty wants to reward Ohio nurses for their dedication and empathy with the opportunity to treat them to a fabulous night out.
What would you do with $1,000? Winners can use the prize any way they wish: enjoying a night on the town in a rented limousine, hosting a party, or joining their associates for a fabulous dinner at a fancy restaurant – the possibilities are endless.
Past Ohio Nurse’s Night Out winners include:
Cleveland RN Jenn Laylle, who used the funds to pay for tuition and rent
Coshocton RN Iris Mercentile, who put the money toward holiday shopping and savings
Cincinnati RN Lisa Rice, who paid for the first getaway she and her husband took after the birth of their child
“California Casualty protects American heroes, and we want to show our appreciation to the men and women who take care of America,’” said California Casualty Sr. Vice President, Mike McCormick.
Serving nurses since 2007, California Casualty is honored to have earned the endorsement of the ONA to provide auto and home/renters insurance to Ohio nurses.
